Job 3:25 (AFV) “ For the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me, and that which I was afraid of has come to me.”
Fear is a spirit, that is, it is “a mindset of insecurity and uncertainty”. The Bible says, “For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR ...” (2Ti. 1:7; KJV). Fear is a product of unhealthy meditation on the unknown. Fear grows in the heart of a man as he begins to think of all the negative things that can happen to him due to a need in his life. Job, though a righteous man, lived in fear of the unknown regarding his children and properties. His worst fears all came true. Stop thinking that something terrible will happen to you; such thought is from the devil, it is not from the LORD God. The Spirit God gave us does not make us afraid (2Ti. 1:7; ERV). Today, I bind the spirit of fear in anyone’s life who is reading this devotion, in the precious name of Jesus.
