2Ch 1:7, (KJV) “In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. [8] And Solomon said unto God ... [10] Give me now wisdom and knowledge ... [11] And God said to Solomon ... [12] Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee ...”
Wisdom can also be defined as the ability or the skilfulness in making good and sound judgment, which is sometimes based on acquired knowledge and understanding, or an instantly and supernaturally imparted “knowing” of what to do regarding any matter of interest or concern. This is exactly what happened to king Solomon when two women came to him arguing over a child (1Ki. 3:16-27); a supernatural, instant “knowing” of what to do came into his heart, and he gave an excellent judgment. Our Lord Jesus also manifested this wisdom when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Him (John 8:1-11); He just instantly knew what to say and do, supernaturally.
