1Timothy 6:11 (CEV) “Timothy, you belong to God, so keep away from all these evil things. Try your best to please God and to be like Him. Be FAITHFUL ...”
Our God is faithful (1Co. 1:9; 10:13), so we must be faithful (1Co. 4:2). To be faithful means consistently remaining true, loyal, and reliable in our actions, commitments, and relationships. It involves keeping our word or promises and covenants (Deut. 7:9). A faithful child of God is one who does according to what is in God’s heart and mind (1Sam. 2:35). Being faithful in a relationship, especially marriage, means maintaining sexual exclusivity and avoiding any form of infidelity. Now, the Bible says, “A faithful man shall overflow with blessings ...” (Prov. 28:20; MKJV). Faithfulness in God’s service determines our promotions (Luke 19:17). May we be faithful to God and men in Jesus precious name.
