1Timothy 6:11 (CEV) “Timothy, you belong to God, so keep away from all these evil things. Try your best to please God and to be like Him. Be faithful, LOVING, dependable, and gentle.
Be loving, just like our Lord Jesus Christ is LOVING. To be loving is to show understanding and empathy toward others it is to show genuine care, affection, and concern for others. It involves acts of kindness and a desire to help and support those around us. It also involves being sensitive to the feelings of others, "putting yourself in their shoes". To be loving involves prioritizing the needs and well-being of others, going out of your way to ensure their happiness and comfort. The Bible says, “… be more concerned for the welfare and good of others than for your own” (Phil 2:3; Remedy). Another Bible version says, “... put others first and view others as more important than yourselves” (TPT). May we be so loving in Jesus name.
