Proverbs 31:10, 26 (KJV) [10] “Who can find a virtuous woman? [26] She openeth her mouth with wisdom ...”
A virtuous woman is one of noble and strong character; a woman of virtue and a woman of excellence. She is an inestimable asset to her husband and children. A wife of noble character is the most precious treasure a man can find (Pro. 18:22; CEV). The secret of a virtuous woman is the spirit of wisdom at work in her – she opens her mouth with wisdom (Prov. 31:26). She speaks with wisdom out of the abundance of wisdom in her heart (Mat. 12:34). Proverbs 14:1 (AFV) says, “Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.” Some other Bible versions says, “A woman's family is held together by her wisdom” (CEV); “A wise woman makes her home what it should be” (ERV); “Homes are made by the wisdom of women” (GNB).
