1Co 15:19 (KJV) “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”
What a joy to know that every child of God has hope in Christ Jesus, not only in this life, but in the life hereafter. Hallelujah! What hope do we have in Christ? In Mark 10:28, Apostle Peter said to the Lord Jesus, “Lo, we have left all and have followed thee.” And Jesus answered and said, “Truly I say to you, there is not one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My sake and for the gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time: houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the age that is coming, eternal life” (Mark 10:29-30). Praise be to God; we have the hope of ETERNAL LIFE in the life hereafter (Jn 3:15-18; Rom. 6:23; Tit. 1:1-2; 1Jn 5:11).
Now, those who have not surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ are of all men most miserable. Why? Because their gains or acquisitions, if any at all, are limited to this life on earth. If you are sure of your own salvation, then, pray for the salvation of every member of your family who are not born again, that they may have the hope of eternal life.
