Mat 25:30 (KJV) “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
The LORD our God has called us into a WALK with Him and to WORK with Him. This WORK with God is called “SERVICE”. A person engaged in rendering service is called a SERVANT. Now, according to our Scriptural text, a servant can be “profitable” or “unprofitable”. The Greek word translated “unprofitable” also means, “useless”, “worthless” and “good-for-nothing”. A useless person is one that is “of no use”. What happens to anything that is “of no use” to you? I guess you “do away” with them. It is a terrible thing “to be of no use” to the Almighty God. The eternal dwelling place of such persons is outer darkness where they will weep and gnash their teeth. This shall not be our portion in Jesus’ name.
Now sincerely answer these questions: WHAT is your life and service “adding” to the growth and progress of the kingdom of God? HOW MUCH is your life and service “adding” to the growth and advancement of the kingdom of God? WHEN last did you win a soul for the kingdom of God? How much of your God-given financial and material resources goes into the advancing God’s kingdom? Resolve now to be PROFITABLE to God.
