Job 3:25 (AFV) “ For the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me ...”
Heb. 11:1 (GNB) “To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.”
May I begin today by restating that fear is a mindset of insecurity and UNCERTAINTY. It is convenient for us to state that “fear” is the opposite of FAITH, because faith is being SURE or CERTAIN of what we hope for (Heb. 11:1; GNB). Therefore, to deal with all fears, we must grow our faith in God. How do we grow in faith in God? Faith comes from what is heard (Rom. 10:17; NET); it comes from hearing the “truth” from God on any matter, and not the lies of the devil. Then, having heard the truth from God, we must act on the truth accordingly and appropriately, speaking forth the truth heard from God. Furthermore, in demonstration of our faith in God, we must do “whatsoever He tells us to do” (John 2:5). An end has come to all fears in our lives in Jesus precious name.
