Gen 1:28 (KJV) [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply ...”
The declaration over man to “Be fruitful and multiply” is both “a blessing” and “a call to action.” In other words, all that we need to be productive and profitable in all required areas of life, have been deposited in us through the word of blessing. However, we must take all necessary action toward productivity and profitability. For example, all that a man and his wife need to produce a child are already deposited in them, but a child will not be formed if the female egg is not brought in contact with the male sperm for fertilization. The point here is, we must start using all our God-given “graces”, “gifts”, and “talents” effectively, efficiently, and intentionally.
Now, Mat 5:16 (KJV) says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works ...” Be prepared for every God-given opportunity to impact the lives of men with your God-given gifts and graces. Allow your light to shine; don’t put it under a bushel (Mat. 5:15). As we sow the seeds of our gifts and graces into the lives of men and women, we will reap a great harvest of increase and growth.
