John 12:24 (KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
Another meaning of the concept of “dying to bring forth much fruit” particularly, in regard to winning souls for Christ Jesus, is the concept of being “a living sacrifice”, holy (sanctified), and acceptable unto God (Ro. 12:1; 2Ti. 2:20-21). When the Almighty God wanted to bring forth more children, He gave His “only” begotten Son (John 3:16). In other words, He gave a “living sacrifice”, the One that knew no sin (2Co. 5:21). So, to become a vessel of honour meet for the Master’s use to bring forth much fruit especially in soul-winning, one must be wholly given to the LORD God, and be willing to happily spend, and be totally spent for the souls of men, like Apostle Paul said of himself in 2Corinthians 12:15.
Are you ready and willing and happy to give anything and everything to the LORD to win souls to Jesus Christ? Are you very glad to spend whatever you have for the advancement of God’s kingdom? Remember, “... he that winneth souls is wise” (Prov 11:30; KJV) and they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars for ever and ever (Dan. 12:3).
