John 12:26 (KJV) “... if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”
One of the blessings a man receives for serving the LORD our God is the HONOUR of our heavenly Father. The LORD God honours those who honour Him (1Sa. 2:30). When the LORD God honours a man, He makes him of great value in the eyes of other men. The LORD our God can honour His servants by performing His great works or miracles through them. For example, when the young David was used by God to kill the giant Philistine, Goliath, he suddenly became highly honoured by all the people of Israel (1Sa 17:1-58; 18:1-5). So, when a man becomes a vessel of honour unto God, he is sanctified, and made meet (suitable) for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work (2Ti. 2:21).
Another way by which the Almighty God honours a man is by answering his prayers when he calls upon me (Psa. 91:15). May the LORD our God honour you as you are crowned with glory and honour, in Jesus precious name.
